Shipping and Handling Policy

Nascent Naturals Inc. is committed to meeting Customer’s requirements for Product delivery. Nascent Naturals Inc. retains the right to delay shipping based on extreme weather conditions (heat or cold) which may damage product. Customer will be notified of any delay or advised of any risk due to weather issues. Ambient service can be arranged for a nominal fee through our courier service.  If you feel that you will require this service, please contact us about your order so we can estimate the extra charges. Rates are calculated on a per order basis.

Any shipping or delivery dates as indicated by Customer or Nascent Naturals Inc. are estimates only, and Nascent Naturals Inc. shall have no liability to Customer for failure to complete delivery of an order by the date indicated or for any of Customer’s incidental, indirect or consequential damages arising from a delay.

Insurance

Nascent Naturals Inc. places basic insurance of up to $100 on each shipment.  The customer is responsible for extra insurance, if requested. Extra fees will be applicable.

Shipping fees will be added to all orders where applicable. All orders within Canada are shipped Canada Post (expedited service) or ATS courier. Excessively large, heavy or fragile orders and all Wholesale customer orders are shipped via ATS courier or customer choice of carrier. Orders to the Continental USA are shipped via Canada Post.**International shipments are FOB our location. Customer must arrange shipment and direct payment to shipping company.

Customer may request and arrange their own carrier to pick up from Nascent Naturals Inc. premises. Nascent Naturals Inc. assumes no responsibility or financial obligation in making such arrangements and is not liable for shipment damage once it leaves our warehouse. When arranging your own carrier, please ensure proper lead time for order preparations.  Do not arrange for your pickup until we have notified you that the order is ready! We will also reqiure the following information:

1. Your full shipping address including postal or zip code.

2. Your billing address (required for credit card processing).

3. A phone number where you can be reached during business hours.

4. If your payment details are on file, your order is complete and will be processed. If you do not have payment information on file we will call you to confirm your credit card information.

Changes to Shipping Fees

Online Store shipping and handling charges are calculated at time of ordering. If customer deems fees to be excessive, please contact us so we may conduct a manual calculation to verify chargeable amounts. Conversely, while we make every effort to honour the posted shipping charges at time of order, any order that is determined to have excessive shipping fees due to extra weight (usually over 15 kg) or remote location, Nascent Naturals reserves the right to recalculate extra shipping charges and notify the customer of any extra fees.  The customer then has the option to accept the charges or decline further processing of the order.

Shipping information supplied by customers through the online store will be deemed as correct and used for billing and shipping. Nascent Naturals Inc. assumes no financial burden as a result of customer errors. Customer is responsible for inspecting and examining the shipments. If the shipment is damaged, do not accept it and notify Nascent Naturals Inc. immediately so the situation can be remedied.

Shipping Deadlines, Timelines and Other Tips for Fast Shipping

Our shipping turnaround times are amazingly fast most of the time compared to our competition.  However some things are out of our control such as holidays, weather, payment issues, incomplete orders, additions to orders and incorrect shipping information. 

We also have to work with courier and Canada Post schedules.  For example, when using Canada Post, it has to be packed and ready by 12 pm for shipping that day.   This does not mean ordering by 12 pm.  We need time to get the order packed!  Sometimes we can do this depending on how busy we are but no guarantees.

Timing is Everything!

Orders going out by ATS courier have to be ready for 10 am to ensure same day pick up.  If it is a large order, best to have it placed at least 24 hours before.  Also consider that neither Canada Post or most couriers work or deliver on weekends or stat holidays and neither do we.  For example, if you place your order on Friday at 3 pm, it can't even be shipped till Monday.  You may not receive it till Wed or Thursday. This may seem like a long time but in actual business days, it is quite fast.

Help us serve you better by placing orders as soon as possible, make sure your order is complete, payment arrangements made, and allow for delays due to obvious obstacles like weather or holidays.  Your business is very important to us, so we want to get your order in your hands as soon as possible!
