True name is Olibanum, but received Frankincense name from “real incense” term.  Considered one of the most anointing oils next to Rose. The astringent property may help balance oily skin. Frankincense is considered to provide a state of calm and relaxation.  For this reason it is used quite often in prayer and meditation.
