Not for internal use.  Possible skin irritant.  Do not use on the skin full strength. Always dilute in appropriate carriers before use.  If pregnant or suffering from serious medical conditions, consult a qualified health professional  experienced in the use of essential oils.
While this oil is part of the traditional Eucalyptus family, it is quite different in aroma and effect due to the significant aldehydes and alcohols and minimal 1,8 cineole (eucalyptol) characteristic of most other common varieties.
Many traditional and reported effective uses include:
General calming effect for mental and emotional fatigue, insomnia
Remedy as inhalant for colds and flu
Fungal infections including athlete’s foot and nail fungus
Relief from the symptoms of viral infections including Herpes and shingles
Helpful with healing sores associated with viruses
Effective,  non-toxic  repellent for mosquitos and many crawling pests – cockroaches, earwigs, ants due to high citronellal content.  The CDC (centre for Disiase Control in Atlanta, GA recommends it as a natural aleternative to repel mosquities which carry serious diseases such as maalaria, yellow fever, dengue and now Chikungunya.
May be used in place of mothballs to scent closed areas like closets and cedar chests and iIt certainly smells better
