Cautions / Safety Data
Generally, a safe soothing oil to use. Mild dermal reactions may occur in people with allergies to pollen. This may be attributed to poor qualities where the pollen has not been filtered. Improved production procedures in recent years has almost eliminated this issue. Do not use on the skin full strength. Always dilute in appropriate carriers before use. Not for internal use. If pregnant or suffering from serious medical conditions, consult a qualified health professional, experienced in the use of essential oils.

The aroma and quality of chamomile is very dependent on the yearly climate and varying state of soil in different regions. This may have some dramatic effects on price and supply from year to year. Due to expense of oil, best utilized in face creams, personal perfumes, body massage, light diffusions. Is reputed for use when inflammation is present.
